Hey everyone! I recently stumbled upon an interesting question: who is considered the father of heart surgery? Most sources point to Dr. Daniel Hale Williams , who performed one of the first successful open-heart surgeries in 1893. His pioneering work paved the way for modern cardiac procedures.
